There's another look when she asks for sarsaparilla. He does smile though as he gets up to move into his kitchen. Snagging a bottle of whiskey from his top cabinets. ]

I'm fine with whiskey though. Or bourbon. Dealer's choice.

[ Though really Faraday drinks whatever alcohol is in front of him and gives him a buzz. Whatever can get him moving. Whatever gets him to pass out enough to erase any dreams. ]

Hard liquor girl. Getting prettier by the minute. [ He's moving to grab two glasses. He drops them onto the coffee table and starts to pour. ]

Movies. TV. Cliches.

[ She shrugs before moving to follow him and then plop down on the couch so he can pour out their drinks.] So I'm suddenly hotter because I drink hard liquor? Maybe I should get that tattooed on my forehead...

[ Movies and TV apparently like giving people the wrong information. That's what he's learned since talking to folks. They all believe one thing when it's the other. It's pretty strange to him how incorrect the information is. But he doesn't fault her for it. Can't blame a girl for being misinformed about things. It's hardly her fault for trusting a source.

Once he's got hers he slides it to her and picks up his own. Taking a long sip. ] Hell yeah you're prettier cause of that. A lady that can handle her liquor is damn appealing to folks. Means ya know how to live.

[ She takes her own long sip before she looks at him, looking a little impressed.] You bet your ass I know how to live.
